The opportunity
Part of the Group Compliance department, the Payment Regulatory Compliance team ensures that the core payment regulations applicable to Worldline Group are identified, implemented and complied with, in order to mitigate non-compliance risk.
The team also supports business lines and regulated entities on regulatory topics, questions and interpretations of key regulations.
As an IT Payment Regulatory Officer, you will sit at the crossroads of regulation and technology, translating complex European payment frameworks into concrete technical and operational requirements. You will cover PSD2 and its Open Banking ecosystem, strong customer authentication, fraud prevention and IT incident reporting, alongside the Settlement Finality Directive, SEPA and the EPC rulebooks. Beyond compliance, you will also play a key role in the Group's innovation agenda by steering regulatory initiatives linked to MiCA and the Digital Euro, helping Worldline anticipate the next evolutions of European payments. Working closely with product, IT, security and legal teams across several countries, you will have real visibility and influence, and you will contribute to shaping a safer, more innovative and more integrated payments landscape in Europe.
Day-to-day responsibilities
As a Payment systems and infrastructure specialist, you will:
- Develop and maintain the Group's compliance framework for PSD2, SCA, Open Banking, fraud prevention and IT incident reporting requirements across entities.
- Review the Settlement Finality Directive, SEPA schemes and EPC rulebook updates, assessing their regulatory, technical and operational impacts on Worldline's payment services.
- Build practical guidance and regulatory watch deliverables that translate complex European payment regulations into clear requirements for business, IT and security teams.
- Execute compliance assessments, gap analyses and action plans, ensuring timely implementation of regulatory changes within Group entities and payment infrastructures.
- Lead the Group's regulatory initiatives on MiCA and the Digital Euro, anticipating impacts and shaping Worldline's innovation strategy accordingly.
- Coordinate with regulated entities, industry bodies and internal stakeholders to answer interpretation questions and handle regulatory reporting and incident notifications.
